For any bride and groom, a record of who attended their wedding is an important part of the big day. But what modern couple now wants a list of names that ends up in a guest book in a drawer? For her wedding in 2009, ceramic artist and illustrator Elizabeth Clark, from Somerset, eschewed a traditional guest book in favour of asking everyone to write their personal messages on a special dinner set, which she then decorated, with illustrations that added splashes of colour between the messages.
